I'm Chebet Buckner
....a young professional who's embarked on an exciting career in digital product management at Amazon Web Services. I manage the second-largest content library on the AWS website – the Customer Success Directory. I've been able to move the needle in this role by leaning on my inherent curiosity, instinctual problem-solving abilities, excellent analytical ability, and a knack for pattern-recognition. I'm driven by a desire to understand user needs and create intuitive, seamless digital experiences that delight customers.

Digital Product Manager, Amazon Web Services
My first post-undergraduate role, I manage the AWS Customer Success Directory, a library of over 3,000 customer reference case studies. I am also a key contributor to the development and implementation of web strategy for the customer success pages.

Conversation Design Intern, Google
In this user experience position, I curated, researched, and designed prompts for the Google Assistant. This included answers about the weather, definitions, and local recycling efforts. Coming in with no UX experience, I was able to quickly familiarize myself with the space and fundamentals, developing a passion for conversation design in the process. Additionally, because of my work, I was selected to be a guest presenter at Google's 2019 Women of Engineering Conference.

As a Science Communications intern, I handled the social media presence of NASA's video based learning platform, eClips, based out of the National Institute of Aerospace. I provided social media promotion and coverage of the RASC-AL Mars Ice Challenge and Virginia Earth System Science Scholars (VESSS) summer academy.
